WHO WE ARE

The Central Alabama Fair Housing Center (CAFHC) is a non-profit civil rights agency created in 1995 to ensure equal housing opportunity for all people living in central Alabama regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, gender, family status, or disability. We are dedicated to eliminating housing discrimination, enforcing fair housing laws and educating individuals regarding fair housing laws.

Fair Housing Enforcement

The Central Alabama Fair Housing Center is dedicated to eliminating housing discrimination in central Alabama. Our enforcement efforts are designed to combat violations of the fair housing laws, provide relief to victims of discrimination and prevent future discriminatory conduct.

CAFHC serves residents in Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Butler, Chambers, Chilton, Coffee, Coosa, Covington, Crenshaw, Dale, Dallas, Elmore, Geneva, Greene, Hale, Henry, Houston, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pike, Russell, Sumter, Tallapoosa, and Wilcox Counties.
