    Fair Housing Accessibility FIRST is a HUD program that provides free technical assistance to the public to promote compliance with the Fair Housing Act’s design and construction requirements.

    GOOD serves as a statewide clearinghouse for information on disability resources in Alabama.
  • People First of Alabama
    People First empowers people with developmental disabilities to reach their own independent living goals.
  • National Alliance on Mental Illness
    NAMI is an organization of family and friends of those with serious mental illness and persons with mental illness. NAMI Alabama has local support and advocacy groups throughout Alabama.
  • Montgomery Area Mental Health Authority
    Provides comprehensive mental health services to residents of Montgomery, Autauga, and Lowndes Counties. Fees are discounted and based on family income. Phone lines are answered 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.
